Health and Enabled Ageing

During our first lesson, we were told to get into groups of 2 and decide on which aspect of the Smart Nation we want to work on. My partner and i have decided to choose Health and Enabled Ageing as we felt that more attention should be given to telehealth services that are available in the market and the problems rising due to the ageing population in Singapore.

First stage : Ageing Population in Singapore

My partner and i agreed that ageing population seemed to be a problem that Singapore faced due to its small geographical location. Thus, we have went on to research about the statistic and came to a conclusion that a more efficient healthcare services should be made available in the healthcare industries to control the shortage of manpower in the healthcare sector.
